Our Story
A community focused café nestled in the heart of Stoke Bishop, The Hideaway @ Discovery is a new café focused on providing a welcoming atmosphere in a comfortable setting. The café provides a menu featuring speciality coffee, sandwiches, toasties, fresh pastries, alcoholic beverages and more. We love to work with suppliers that are local to Bristol and the South West where possible, including Clifton Coffee, Wiper and True, Hobbs House Bakery, Great Scott's Veg, and Bakesmiths. We’ve aimed to create a space that can be enjoyed by everyone, with a new children’s play area so that parents and carers can relax with a drink, space to catch up with a book club or walking group, and a lovely terrace to soak up the sun during the summer, comfy chairs to cosy up in the winter months.
Discovery Education
The Hideaway @ Discovery sits under Discovery Education, a company providing alternate learning provision to children and young adults in 8 sites across North Bristol. Discovery Education’s ethos is simple: children and young people deserve the opportunity to become the best version of themselves. As part of this, The Hideaway @ Discovery will be working with teenagers that are working towards BTEC qualifications in hospitality and catering, learning with their 1 to 1 tutors in the kitchen and café space, gaining the education and experience essential to progressing into employment in the hospitality industry!
